GMPA has held two conferences to bring practicitoners together
in a battle to beat the off-road nuisance in Greater Manchester
The first was held in November 2005 and included representatives from all across Greater Manchester.
In September 2006 GMPA co-hosted a conference with Bolton MBC to bring together council staff and educate them as to how they can work in partnership to help reduce the nuisance suffered by residents.
Through open discussion and workshops delegates were given the opportunity to discuss opinions and experiences of best practice. By examining the issues of provision, prevention and enforcement it was hoped that a joined up approach to tackling the problem could be achieved that would then broadcast a strong and consistent message across Greater Manchester .
